On September 4, 2006, my wife of 40 years suddenly passed away with a massive heart attack.

In recent studies the extracts from the Agaricus blazei mushroom were found to be more effective then cortisone in reducing the amount of substances (known as leucotrienes) that the body produces during an asthma attack.

The study attributed the Agaricus Blazei’s beta glucan content for this. The study showed that, of the four different leucotrienes that the body most often produces in the event of an asthma attack, the Agaricus Blazei was able to reduce them by 82 percent, versuses the cortisone’s 69 percent.
